Testimonials

Hear from our volunteers

Volunteering at ACRES has allowed me to make an impact on what I love: my country and the wildlife that lives here on this little island. It has made me appreciate how caring Singaporeans can be, even to our pigeons and mynas, but also made me realise how much more can be done when educating the public about how wildlife (like snakes) should not be feared, but should be treasured for how important they are to the ecosystem. And getting to to play a part of this education and conservation? A wonderful way to spend my free time

Wildlife Rescue Volunteer
Volunteering with ACRES for the past six years has been an amazing and eye-opening experience. It's incredibly fulfilling to lend a hand to our wild neighbours, offering them even the smallest additional chance at survival. We enjoy helping people see wildlife in a new light, by turning fear or misconceptions into appreciation and respect. Each rescue is a reminder that animals and humans alike come with their own unique quirks and personalities. What keeps me inspired is the ACRES team. They’re a diverse bunch, incredibly dedicated, fearless, and endlessly driven by the shared passion for animal welfare.
