At ACRES, we’re a mission-driven team working towards a world where animals are treated with compassion and respect.
Before You Apply
Before applying for a position at ACRES, we encourage you to take a moment to understand our values and culture, and consider if they resonate with you.
Our vision is “A world where animals are treated with compassion and respect.”

This means extending compassion and respect not only to animals, but also to:
- Our volunteers
- Members of the public
- Partners and stakeholders
- And importantly, our own colleagues
At ACRES, we work alongside individuals who are deeply committed to speaking up for animals, supporting one another, and moving our mission forward together.

Being the change also means aligning our daily lives with our mission. One of our key objectives is to educate people on lifestyle choices that do not involve animal abuse and are environmentally responsible. As such, we strive to embody these principles both professionally and personally.

About Our Work

- We educate, with the hope that one day, our work will no longer be needed
Our Workplace
Our Wildlife Rescue Centre and office are located in the rustic surroundings of Sungei Tengah, one of the few remaining rural areas in Singapore. Surrounded by farms and nature, our environment serves as a daily reminder of the cause we serve.
The nearest MRT station is Choa Chu Kang, with a shuttle bus departing at 9:00am, allowing staff to begin work at 9:30am and end at 5:00pm (except for wildlife rescue roles, which may have different hours)
Our Commitment
At the heart of ACRES is a commitment to prevent animal suffering and promote compassion and responsible stewardship.
In line with our values:
- Consumption of meat and seafood is not permitted on ACRES premises
- This applies to staff, volunteers, and visitors, including when representing ACRES or using ACRES vehicles
- All ACRES-sponsored events and staff gatherings serve a fully vegan menu
